Fashion Fix Ups
Building and refashioning a wardrobe from existing materials is the ultimate in eco-friendly fashion. You can find an endless supply of cute outfit potential at thrift and vintage shops, garage sales and the back of your own closet! We’ll cover making something slightly smaller or larger by adjusting seams, or more fitted with darts and other creative details. You’ll learn about garment deconstruction and some rad refashioning methods to transform something outdated into something fresh and unique. Students will have time in class to work on one upcycled or altered project of their choice.
Prerequisite: Beginning I Sewing Series, Crash Course or equivalent experience. Not sure? Please email and we'll discuss!
