Knitting 101

Learn the basics of knitting while making either a sweet starter scarf or a group of cotton wash cloths. We will cover holding your needles, casting on, tension, knit stitch, purl stitch, pattern reading, tools, vocabulary, and different stitch patterns using only knit and purl stitches. You’ll practice on a swatch, learn to bind off and get started on a project that you will either finish in class, or take home to complete.
