Oilcloth Zippered Bag Sets

Oilcloth or laminated cotton is available in more fabulous patterns and styles than ever before, but I’ve heard some of you are intimidated by sewing with it. Once you learn the easy tricks of working with this material and zipper installation, you’ll want to make a zillion more! Learn to make a set of zingy zippered bags for travel, everyday use, cosmetics, art supplies, whatever you like! We’ll make one 10 X 5” large travel kit size, and three (7”, 9”& 11”) nesting sizes of zippered bags, as shown.

Prerequisites? Beginning I Sewing Series, Crash Course, or equivalent experience needed. Not sure? Please email and we'll discuss!

4 to 5 students per class (depending on its assigned lab)
One (1) 3.5-hour class
$35 (with an additional $5 fee, if you need to rent one of our sewing machines)
