Party Skirt Series

This flirty, fitted-waist party skirt is the perfect answer for any occasion!  You can make this skirt out of all kinds of different fabrics to get various looks.  I recycled an old taffeta prom dress to make my skirt, but you could easily make it out of a soft cotton or other fabric for a more casual look. We’ll cut and sew the skirt in two quick sessions, and you’ll get to take the pattern and instructions home with you in case you want to make multiples of it in all your favorite colors and prints!  In the process you’ll learn how to gather, hem and install an invisible zipper amongst other things.  Oh, and did I mention it has pockets!!!!

Prerequisite: Beginning I Sewing Series or equivalent experience. Not sure? Please email and we'll discuss!
