Sewing for Guys!

It's not just the ladies who see that sewing is a highly practical life skill that can save you money. Men have been taking our co-ed classes for years, but this one is "tailor made" just for the male beginning stitcher, in a crash-course format. You will learn how to operate a sewing machine (our favorite power tool), and get to know all the basic stitches and accessories. Then we'll teach you basic hemming techniques for jeans and trousers, and how to take in a t-shirt for an "athletic" fit. P.S. - Gals interested solely in introductory sewing and hemming are welcome to join this class, too!

Prerequisite: None, except that students must be at least 13 years old.

"The Sewing for Guys class was quite a service for me. I didn't know if my 60-year old Singer even worked. And, I have a lot of curtain material sitting unused. Tina brought my machine to life, and was expert enough to figure out all its unique functions, and then teach me how to use it. Tina was a thorough and patient instructor. Thanks for what you do...” -- Grant
