Get to Know Your Sewing Machine!

So you are learning how to sew, but that sewing machine is all too
mysterious. Every time you sit down to practice or make a project, many
questions come to mind. What are all these presser feet and attachments?
Why does it keep jamming? How do I use all these stitches? Why do my
stitches look weird? Solve the mysteries of your sewing machine and more
in this informative class that will help boost confidence, and build
important skills that will help get you on your way to reaching your
sewing goals. We’ll even learn basic care and maintenance to ensure a
longer life for your machine. NOTE: this is a one-time class. We will not be making an actual garment.

Prerequisite: Beginning I Sewing Series, Crash Course or equivalent sewing experience.

4 or 5 students per class (depending on its assigned lab)
One (1) 3.5-hour class
$45

Materials Needed: Sewing Machine, user manual, spool of sewing thread, all attachments and presser feet. Don’t have your user manual? Try doing an online search for your make and model’s user manual to find a replacement.
