Baktus Scarf Series
This scarf pattern was all the rage in Norway a few years back and it’s easy to see why. The scarf is made from one skein of fingering weight yarn and employs a simple repeated knit or garter stitch as it’s primary stitch. There’s no need to take a gauge as you really can’t go wrong in terms of sizing. Make one and see if you can stop yourself from making a second...or third!
In Class #1, we will cast on our scarves, and cover increasing and decreasing. There will be homework over the week break in between classes, so that you can come to the second class ready to finish your scarf, cast off, and weave in the ends!
Prerequisite: Knitting 101 at Stitch Lab, or equivalent knowledge (casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and casting off). Increasing and decreasing will be covered in class. Not sure? Please email and we'll discuss!
