Round and Round Coasters

If our glasses have round bases, why do I always make square coasters? This was my daughter’s innocent question, and I responded that I don't — and then I set about designing these. These coasters are perfect project for using saved scraps and trying new techniques. This design encourages you to piece strips improvisationally, combine a variety of fabrics, and maybe even try your hand at free motion machine quilting. Level: Beginner.

Prerequisite: The Beginning I Sewing Series, Crash Course or equivalent experience.
