Supersize My Quilt: Fish Baby Log Cabin Series

This class is all about simple graphic, quick blocks that pack a visual punch. The concept behind this class is to radically upscale a simple, easy-to-piece design and create a block that alone could be finished into a baby quilt or, in conjunction with additional blocks would make a striking bed-sized quilt.

This design couldn’t be simpler—a single log cabin block super-sized to create a top big enough for a baby quilt. Combine this simple idea with a variety of contrasting and similarly valued solids and you have a quilt that is direct, fresh, and very modern, but also feels entirely functional. Finished block measures: 38” x 38”.

Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Prerequisite: The Intro to Quilting Series, or equivalent experience.
